Custom Installations
At NYM, we pride ourselves on being able to offer our customers a turn-key delivery and installation process. That means that when you hire us to deliver and install your appliances, we will make sure that the installation is completed 100%.
Shortly before installation, we will come to your house to inspect and make sure that the house is completely ready for installation. We bring the manufacturer’s specifications for your product with us and, if any modifications are necessary, we will provide you with a written report listing all work that must be completed.
NYM has a general contractor on staff, and he is capable of completing a substantial amount of the custom work that may be required at the time of installation of your appliances. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Modifications to your cabinetry

  • Relocation of plumbing shut-off valves

  • Relocation or modification of electric outlets or wiring

  • Modification to duct work required for ventilation

  • Cutting or drilling into granite or other stone countertops or backsplashes
NYM will provide you a written estimate for any custom work prior to installation, and NYM will not deviate from that estimate unless there is additional work that we not foreseeable at the time of our inspection.
In addition, NYM works closely with a local metal fabrication company that is able to modify or fabricate sheet metal and stainless steel needed for any application. Whether it is cutting the finished edge of your hood’s duct cover, or custom designing and cutting stainless steel filler strips, NYM will measure what is required, have the metal work completed, and delivery and install it in your home.
